La industria del entretenimiento genera mundialmente enormes ingresos de dinero, aproximadamente trillones de dólares. Cuando hablamos de esa industria hablamos de un sinfín de actividades en las cuales las personas están dispuestas a gastar, siempre y cuando se reciba por ello estímulos de calidad. Divertirse está en la naturaleza humana, entretenerse y buscar desconectarse de la realidad por un momento, es parte de la vida, tanto como respirar. La ciudad de Miami crece constantemente y es, hoy por hoy, un centro fundamental de entretenimiento en el país. A esa vorágine de empresas que se dedican al relajamiento humano se une ahora el proyecto Alafia Creative Entertainment.

O Cinema presenta este viernes 13 de julio, de 8:00 a 10:00 p.m., un evento especial en el artístico barrio de Wynwood, en Miami, para celebrar el lanzamiento de Alafia Creative Entertainment, una compañía de música y eventos especiales que fue fundada por la doctora Eva Silot Bravo, quien luego de más de 15 años de investigación y experiencia de trabajo en las áreas de relaciones internacionales, educación superior, periodismo y consultoría en la industria de la música, se ha asentado en la Ciudad del Sol creando un frente artístico. La compañía brinda servicios de forma personalizada y con excelencia. Musicalmente ACE se especializa en la fusión cubana y la música clásica, tanto local como transnacional; y en la escena alternativa y urbana de la música.

ACE está desarrollando proyectos artísticos y educativos que beneficien a las comunidades locales y brinden opciones atractivas de entretenimiento, que estimulen la creatividad y el bienestar. Alafia Creative Entertainment está interesada en promover oportunidades de negocios y proyectos de colaboración con socios interesados en el desarrollo y la diversificación de las artes locales, así como en el estímulo de la industria de la música y los talentos locales.

Uno de sus empeños es el manejo y proyección de la cantante y compositora Sol Ruiz junto al grupo musical Sol + The Tribu. Ruiz, nacida en Miami de padres cubanos y graduada de teatro musical en New World School of the Arts, toca la guitarra, el ukelele y el güiro; Rey Rodríguez es cantante y compositor, toca la guitarra y la armónica, es graduado del Conservatorio Miguel de Cervantes de La Habana y de la Escuela de Música Creativa de Madrid; ambos pertenecían al grupo madrileño Picadillo. A ellos se une el percusionista y cantante Manny Díaz.

Alafia Creative Entertainment & O Cinema present a special event, on Friday, July 13^th, 8:00 pm, at O Cinema Wynwood. The event will launch Alafia Creative Entertainment, a music business start-up in the Wynwood Arts District, Miami; and will release the new single video “A CHI CHA RAO”, by the sizzling local music collective Sol+ The Tribu.

Sol + The Tribu is a project born in Miami by Cuban musicians Sol Ruiz (Vocals/Guitar/Keyboard), Rey Rodríguez (Vocals/Guitar) and Manny Diaz (Vocals/Percussion). Their unique Miami sound is a blend of Electronic music with Afro-Cuban rhythms, Cumbia, Reggaeton, Funk, Blues and Hip hop. As a reflection of the place where they create, they sing in Spanglish, taking their influences from Benny More, Orishas, Fugees, Outkast and Celia Cruz, among others. They create a rhythmic landscape that blends the traditions and cultures around them.

Critics describe Sol as the “female Manu Chao”, and stated that “she has the voice of Janis Joplin and Celia Cruz”. The Miami Herald named her “the Cuban Janis Joplin”, and she was appointed Miami's Songwriter of the Year in 2012. Sol + The Tribu is her more recent music project.

Alafia Creative Entertainment was founded by Eva Silot Bravo PhD., after more than 15 years of research and work experience in international relations, education, blogging and arts consulting. The company provides in demand, high quality and tailored music booking and arts consulting services. ACE specializes in transnational Cuban music fusion and the local alternative urban music scene.

This cultural enterprise is also developing projects on education and community outreach, through socially engaging and out of the box entertaining options. ACE is pursuing collaborative projects and joint ventures with business partners interested in the development and diversification of the local arts and music business scene.
